GenelyzerTM
GenelyzerTM facilitates quick, easy and precise DNA analysis
Hereto, separate equipments were used to conduct each stage of the DNA analysis process: hybridization, rinse, detection and analysis.
Toshiba realize the complete process in a single equipment by use of the original electrochemical method.
GenelyzerTM is compact, moreover, GenelyzerTM enabled easy operation and short analysis time ..
- Toshiba's electrochemical method makes all of this possible in an all-in-one device. Analysis is quick too
- Integration and automation realize operations easy enough to be carried out by anyone
- Desktop-sized equipment needs no "paraphernalia"
- Uses original technology to realize clear, precise analysis results
- Refined compact design
Toshiba's electrochemical method makes all of this possible in an all-in-one device. Analysis is quick too
Hybridization, rinse, detection and analysis - hereto, each process was undertaken by a separate equipment. Each process required time, operation required effort and specialized knowledge. Moreover, samples had to be moved from one equipment to another making consistent test results difficult to come by. If these equipment could be integrated, analysis could be easy, precise and speedy. a single device with all of these functions. Original technology, Toshiba's electrochemical method, has resolved all of these problems.
*Original automation technology realizes automation
of all processes from hybridization through analysis.
Integration and automation realizes operations easy enough to be carried out by anyone
Injectt the sample into the GenelyzerTM chip and set it in the equipment, and everything, including injection of the reagent and the reaction, takes place automatically within the equipment.
Upon completion, simply remove the tested chip and confirm the results. This leaves you free to get on with other things during processing (standard processing time: 15~60 min.)
*Standard processing time

Desktop-sized device needs no "paraphernalia"
Test room or laboratory. DNA tests are precise and sensitive, and although there is no room for mistakes or mishaps, the more operations involved and the more one has to investigate, the more complicated operations become and the greater the probability of a wrong specimen being taken or operational errors occurring.
Reducing the number of equipment and operations reduces such probabilities.
Original technology is used to analyze results, precisely and clearly
Even if a different person operates the equipment on occasion, it produces the same results every time, regardless of how many times or when the analysis is conducted.
It goes without saying that precise and sensitive DNA tests are very difficult to conduct.
Toshiba's electrochemical method has realized precise measurement by succeeding in systemizing processes and operations, eliminating analysis errors, and enhancing accuracy.
