Newly Generator Insulation System

Class F insulation is suitable for use under high temperature severe conditions.

Class F insulation in thermal resistivity excels in mechanical properties, especially in fatigue characteristics, as to electrical properties compared to conventional B class insulation. This Insulation is superior not only initially but also in the long term.

Toshiba's New brazing method extends the stator insulation life.

A new brazing method using a new alloy composition without formed metal prevents Galvanic corrosion at the clip of stator bars. Optimum brazing time and temperature, copper surface cleaning, and wettability can make a perfect bond between copper strands and alloy. Few voids exist on the interface. This new brazing method extends the water leakage path and extends stator insulation life enormously.
