I&C Renovation Project of TACOA Power Station |
Toshiba has won an EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) contract from EDC (Electricidad de Caracas) to comprehensively renovate I&C (Instrumentation & Control) system of TACOA P/S Units 7 to 9 in Venezuela.
More than 20 years have passed since the TACOA P/S took over. The existing control system for TACOA P/S is an outdated system composed of electrical one-loop controller, pneumatic controller and the operation panel that consists of the hard-wired parts, such as switches, lamps, relay and analog circuits. This large-scale I&C renovation project provides various advantages and the best solution for the existing system. |
