Nowadays, the operation and maintenance of thermal power plant become more complicated and they require a vast range of knowledge and experiences. To support customers, Toshiba provides classroom training upon customer's request. Training can be conducted in Japan (Keihin, Kanagawa and Fuchu, Tokyo offices of Toshiba) and in USA (Chadds Ford, PA). Typical class room training course includes the following:
- Outline of turbine, generator and auxiliaries
- Maintenance method of turbine, generator and auxiliaries
- Plant control
- Operation training with simulator
