In 2001, EBSS was established as a joint venture among Toshiba Corporation,
Accenture Corporation, and Oracle Corporation Japan.

- Established the company in Roppongi, Tokyo.
- Started IT implementation consulting service mainly for Oracle EBS implementation.
- Won the Industry Award of "Oracle Award 2009" from Oracle Corporation Japan.
- Moved the head office to Hamamatsucho, Tokyo.
- Moved the head office to Tamachi, Tokyo.
- Started participating in the Japan Roll Out of the U.S. manufacturing industry.
- Started diversifying services with the aim of becoming a comprehensive consulting company.
- Started sales expansion and participation in commercialization programs and IT projects in the ASEAN region.
- Won the 2nd place in ERP cloud and the 1st place in Sales Cloud at the Oracle Application Cloud Consultation Award.
- Published the book "IT Engineer's Overseas Expansion Reader" by our consultants.
- Established a satellite office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of our founding

Although the difficult situation continues due to the COVID-19 disaster, this year we are happy to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our founding. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the favor and support of our customers and partners who have high expectations for us.

Our company, EBSS is established in 2001, and we have supported many manufacturing customers to improve their operations and systems based on our experience and know-how in an enterprise system implementation and roll-out globally at Toshiba Group.

At the time of establishment, there were few successful cases regarding the implementation of ERP, and as a result of great difficulty with customers when implementing the Big Bang, there were cases where we had to give up the implementation. The success and failure of this period, and the hardships of each, are the origin of our company. In order to face the same direction as the customer and achieve the same purpose, we have advised as a consultant at a certain time and consider from the customer's point of view at another time, and our such unique style has been gradually formed through this process.

This style was followed at the time of opportunity to support the overseas roll-out of Japanese companies. While implementing ERP in Europe, North America, South America, and Asian countries, it is also great property for us that many consultants were able to experience that the style of being close to customers and giving advice is also effective in globalization.

When the 10th year had passed since establishment, ERP had spread to most companies, so we have started project management (PM) support not only for ERP but also for other IT implementation in customers. PM support is often stayed in the customer's office or factory, and it was an opportunity to acquire a stance of considering the corresponding project as one's own matter. On the other hand, the Toshiba Group, which we support, has begun structural reforms, and through that support we have accumulated know-how on system separation and integration. Based on this experience, we have sold a consulting service specializing in IT system / infrastructure separation and integration after business transfer and acquisition, which is a bit different from due diligence conducted by many other consulting companies.

In the last few years, the management and business environment surrounding the manufacturing industry has changed significantly to business models such as mass customization and recurring, with the barriers between markets and companies disappearing. There are many themes that want to connect corporate business, systems, and culture to reform by utilizing IT, such as renovating enterprise systems, supporting global value chains, and converting to DX by applying new technologies such as IoT and AI / RPA.

Our current business prepares 6 consulting menus (01. Business Strategy, 02. Business improvement, 03. IT planning, 04. Digital, 05. ERP implementation, 06. Project management) in response to changes in the surrounding environment. In addition to providing these menus on a one-off basis and independently, we will continue to provide these menus connecting in an organic manner, aiming to become a true consulting partner who can respond to various issues of our customers.

It may be difficult to understand the meaning of "connecting service in an organic manner". I will explain in following paragraphs.

The review of enterprise systems using cloud-based ERP is gradually spreading in Japan as well. We will develop our own template for the manufacturing industry using Oracle ERP Cloud, by reforming our ERP implementation know-how that we have cultivated so far, and we are aiming support the start-up of the enterprise system more smoothly and smartly.

That is a big enough theme, but if you have business improvement consulting to review the business itself before implementing this ERP, or if you use the data of the appropriate particle size supplied from the correctly implemented ERP in the digital domain such as DX. What if an attempt to provide such a consulting was added? The meaning and effect of improving business efficiency should differ greatly.

The goal is not to implement ERP, but to be close to customers from a comprehensive perspective of how to improve and streamline corporate activities. This is the intention of “connecting services in an organic manner”, and EBSS wants to thoroughly implement this in the future.

It's been eight years since I changed the jobs to EBSS.
I was engaged with various projects, and there was work that took pressure, but I have come up with a sense of satisfaction.
Also, when the customer said ""Thank you"", I was glad I worked.
In the future, as EBSS grows, I would like to do my best to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers.

8 years after joining EBSS

Within a week of joining EBSS, I was assigned to a long-term business trip in Japan, and went on an overseas business trip to a certain country seven times a year.
I am blessed with good seniors and good colleagues even though there were various troubles, and I am living a good working life.

16 years after joining EBSS

Since I have been enrolled since EBSS was founded, I am surprised that I have been enrolled for 20 years, and I am happy to celebrate the 20th anniversary.
At the beginning, it was difficult to decide various things from scratch, including the regulations, but now I feel a little nostalgic.
We will do our best together so that we can become a company that our customers need while adapting to the changes of various times such as the 30th and 40th anniversary of the future.

It's been three years since I didn't know anything and started to learn the consultant's ABC.
For further growth, I would like to try various fields instead of sticking to one field in the future.

3 years after joining EBSS

When EBSS was first established, it started as a group of EBS specialists, and everyone was devoted to the implementation and deployment of EBS, but now it has grown into a company that consults widely, such as ERP Clould, IoT, and PMO.
I am looking forward to seeing what it will look like in the next 20 years.

19 years after joining EBSS

Celebration! 20th anniversary of EBSS!
After changing jobs from the IS department of the manufacturer to an SI vendor, I joined EBSS at the end of the year 2000 problem and experienced a position related to such a project.
It's fast, and I spent more than half of my working experience at EBSS.
It feels like the days of thinking and practice have passed happily by applying the stimulation of colleagues who have various experiences and their own experiences according to the project. In 2021, there was a big change in working style and communication means due to the COVID disaster, but among them, I want to be a company that can ingenuity, propose, and practice, and I also want to be that way. We look forward to your continued support of EBSS.
