Responsible for implementing Oracle ERP in the SCM/MFG area

In my previous job, I worked as a systems engineer, mainly in charge of detailed design, programming, and testing. During this time, I had the opportunity to develop add-ons for Oracle Applications, but I couldn't see the whole picture of the project in my position at the time, so I wanted to try a more upstream process and moved to EBSS.

Since joining EBSS, I have worked as a function consultant, supporting manufacturing company with system implementation, mainly in the production area. In the process, I have experienced a series of phases, including requirements definition, design/construction, testing, migration, and actual operation. I have also been involved in global projects such as offshore development and overseas expansion.

Recently, I have supported the implementation of Oracle Cloud Applications. The industries of our clients have expanded beyond manufacturing to include trading companies and retailers. My own area of responsibility has also expanded from the production area to the SCM area.

Consulting services that are tailored to our clients

What I try to do is to use my knowledge and experience to provide consulting that is close to the clients. When implementing Oracle ERP, I want to be a trusted consultant who can carefully explain and propose things to clients and get results by facing their concerns and worries.

When I say close to the clients, I don't mean that I do everything the customer says. When implementing Oracle ERP, if you ask too many requirements, you will end up with a lot of add-on development, and the actual operation will be in trouble. However, simply repeating the explanation of standard functions will not convince the customer. In SCM/production, clients often have unique operations that standard ERP functions cannot accommodate.

I try to confirm the essence of what the customer is aiming for by implementing Oracle ERP, and use the knowledge of ERP, business knowledge, and IT engineers that I have cultivated so far to carefully explain and propose practical solutions to the clients. I believe that such steady efforts will ultimately lead to the success of the project.
