We, HIMEJI TOSHIBA E.P. Corporation, are a member of Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation Group. We manufacture and sell semiconductor parts, high-precision metal molds, etc. We are located in an environment notable for Himeji Castle, which is a national treasure and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ibo River, and the Seto Inland Sea. Based on the group's environmental policy and cherishing the environment in which we are situated, we regard promotion of environment-friendly manufacturing as one of our management's highest priorities. Accordingly, all employees (including our business partners' employees) are committed to environmental protection activities in order to fulfill our social responsibility by practicing superior environmental management and contributing to the emergence of a recycling-based society.

1. We will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, industry guidelines we have endorsed, and our own environmental standards, and also with other requirements. Furthermore, we will continue to improve our environmental management systems and promote their effective operation through internal audits and activity reviews.
2. In the course our business activities, we will assess the impacts on the environment, including that on biodiversity, in every business process, and will promote environmental activities by specifying environmental objectives and targets with respect to the reduction of environmental impacts and prevention of pollution.

      We will achieve energy saving for power equipment, production equipment, etc. to reduce CO2 emissions.

      We will strive to recycle, control and reduce waste, promote effective use of water resources, and promote resource saving.
   3. 3) Increasing environmental awareness, and promoting CSR (corporate social responsibility) and environmental communication
      We will strive to enhance environmental awareness through environmental events. For biodiversity conservation, we will grasp how business activities influence biodiversity, strive to reduce such influence, and also promote CSR (corporate social responsibility).
