Quality Control Policy

In accordance with Toshiba Group's management philosophy of total commitment to people and to the future, we, HIMEJI TOSHIBA E.P. Corporation, will strive to contribute to society by putting our customers first and by offering safe, high-quality products and services with advanced features that deliver customer satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. To achieve this, we will do the following:

  • 1) We will offer superior products that meet our customers' needs.
  • 2) We will establish a quality management system in order to continuously maintain and improve the quality of products from the customer's point of view.
  • 3) We will continue to aim for essential improvement by investigating the root causes of quality problems and promoting tireless innovation.
  • 4) We will work on continuous improvement activities so as to meet the requirements specified in JISQ9001/ISO 9001 "Quality Management System Standard".

June 1997: ISO9002 certification was obtained.
June 2003: ISO9001:2000 certification was obtained (shift to the 2000 version).
June 2007: High-precision metal molds were also included within the scope (expansion of the scope of registration).
June 2010: ISO9001:2008 certification was obtained (shift to the 2008 version).
